Please join us for our annual Fourth of July Flag Raising at Doc's from 10am-11am. This event is administered by Kirkwood H.O.G. and is open to the public.

This year please feel free to bring any old flags for retirement and proper burning to Doc's Harley-Davidson before or the day of the event.

All branches of the military will be represented and the Air National Guard Band of the Central States, Strike Eagle Brass Quintet will perform. Re-enactors will honor all veterans who have served and hot dogs and soda will be provided for the whole family.

In addition, please welcome visitors from across the pond in Scotland, Colin Read and Iain Whyte, to show your support for their ride across the United States (in Kilts!) to raise awareness and money for Colin's son George's rare condition, Moebius Syndrome. Kilts Across America raises awareness of this rare condition which prevents children and adults from blinking, smiling or having any facial expression. They will read the last (rarely referred to) stanza of the National Anthem.
