Here at Doc's we pride ourselves in offering one of the best service facilities for Harley-Davidson motorcycles in the country. As the only dealer for a 100 mile radius offering a Dynojet approved tuning center with Tuning Link we hope you trust Doc's to maximize your motorcycles performance as it is today and as you add performance accessories.
As a matter of fact, several of our technicians are not only PHD certified technicians for performance but also race for Doc's Harley-Davidson Racing. As the only dealer in the metro area with a race team, we understand horsepower and are happy to pass our extensive experience along to your bike on the street.
While Doc's bike customers enjoy priority service, it doesn't matter where you bought your bike when it comes to warranty work.
We understand people go to other dealers, whther it's impulse or a special sale or that one of a kind bike you just have to have at that exact moment. But, don't let that stop you from coming into Doc's for regular maintenance and aftermarket parts & accessories!
Let our award winning service department show you why we are rated the #1 Harley-Davidson dealership in the country for new bike purchase experience and why people ride in from miles around to make Doc's their only stop for service, maintenance, parts & accessories!
Starting March 3rd, 2007 Doc’s Service dept will offer while you wait service for limit services. These services will be 1k, 5k, fluid changes, tire changes, and state inspections (fork oil changes do not qualify for same day service.
Additional repairs that are required or requested may make the bike unavailable for same day service. Services will be first come, first service. Bikes already in service do not qualify for same day service.
Bikes arriving after 2pm or later may not be completed same day, depending on volume of same day drop offs.
Appointments will still be accepted for Saturday but it is recommended that appointments be made at least two weeks out because of the popularity of Saturday appointments.

The Dynojet is a motorcycle dynamometer specifically designed to allow a Dynojet trained technician to run the motorcycle through it's full power curve and adjust air/fuel ratios at various throttle positions for maximum horsepower and torque.
Truth is, it's the small print, but the small print is a big deal. We are the only dealer for 100 miles with Tuning Link. Tuning Link allows you to map the front and back cylinders separately and has the ability to map fuel curves in both the "static" and "dynamic" state. What does that mean? You are assured that the generated fuel curves are correct for both steady cruising as well as aggressive on/off throttle movements.
While Doc's has the expertise to download various power maps for any make and model, our area of specific expertise is Harley-Davidson motorcycles. It has been our experience that off the shelf maps for download do not yield the greatest potential for a motorcycle. It is in the experienced hands of a seasoned technician where you can "tweak" the numbers and even the power curve.
Yes and no. Dyno tuning is available for both carbureted and fuel injected bikes. However, there are only so many adjustments that can be done to a carbureted bike. You can run it, assess it and modify the intake jets to maximize engine output. This process takes half the time and consequently is half the cost.
But, the most dramatic power improvements come from Tuning Link which is for fuel injected motorcycles only. In addition, your motorcycle must be equipped with a Power Commander IIIr/USB interface. This allows the motorcycle to "talk" to the software and receive new air/fuel instructions.
It varies. Depending on the age and maintenance of the motorcycle, results can vary widely. Whatever the case, you can ALWAYS improve performance. The following charts graphically illustrate results of subtle improvement of 6hp to dramatic changes as high as 20hp, each with corresponding torque increases.
